Null’s Clash Update — Town Hall 18 Arrives (v18.0.2)

We have released a major update to Null’s Clash, bringing Town Hall 18 to the private server along with the new Guardian defense system, Crafting Phase 2, an improved Ranked Battle system, and many other features from the latest Clash of Clans update.

This is one of the most complex updates in the entire history of Null’s Clash. Below is a detailed breakdown of what we had to adapt and how it works on our server.

🔧 What We Had to Adapt for the Private Server

1. Town Hall 18 and the cinematic

In the original game, upgrading to TH18 triggers a short meteor impact cinematic.

We implemented a similar mechanic and made it compatible with the private server:

• the cinematic plays correctly when upgrading;
• if a player skips the animation, in Null’s Clash it can be replayed through the menu (we removed the original replay restriction).

2. Guardian System

This was one of the most technically demanding systems.

In Null’s Clash we reworked the Guardian logic:

• Guardians patrol the village correctly, just like on the official server;
• during attacks the game correctly determines which Guardian is active;
• full compatibility with Ranked Battles and Clan Wars was implemented;
• on the private server, Guardians can be switched instantly with no waiting time.

3. Village Restoration and Error Protection

TH18 is difficult to integrate because it destroys TH17 and rebuilds from meteorite debris.
We rewrote the entire upgrade process:

• no risk of “breaking” the village during transition;
• all data transfers automatically;
• meteorite elements are cleared correctly.

4. Crafted Defenses

The original game resets all crafted defenses.

We adapted the system for the private server so players wouldn’t lose progress:

• old defenses automatically convert into resources and Sparky Stones;
• full functionality for Hero Bell, Bomb Hive, and Light Beam is implemented;
• switching between crafting phases is accelerated and does not require waiting months.

5. Fancy Shop

This was the most time-consuming feature:

• implemented Sparky Stones economy;
• added unique rewards, including the “Meteorite Builder” skin;
• fully functional visual effects for decoration charges;
• the entire system works offline and does not rely on Supercell servers.

6. Ranked System and Restrictions

We adapted the Ranked system:

• tournament groups and logic are as close to the official game as possible;
• players can register and enter a League immediately, without waiting a full week.

7. Fast Village Upgrades

Exclusive to the private server:

• upgrade to TH18 instantly:
• through chat: /th 18
  • or using buttons in the Events section
• max out everything instantly using /full
• get resources, heroes, troops, and decorations using quick commands
